LANCASTER, SC :::::::::: Mr. Calvin Mitchell "Mick" Tucker, age 60, died Sunday, September 23, 2012 at his home. He was born January 26, 1952 in Laurinburg, NC, the son of the late Calvin Leroy Tucker and Alice Fowler Tucker. Mr. Tucker retired from Springs Industries, worked as Maintenance Manager with Woodcreek Apartments and was a member of New Life Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife, Sue Stein Tucker of the home, a son, Calvin Mitchell Tucker and his wife Christina and a daughter, Michelle Edwards and her husband Jeremy both of Lancaster, a step son, Christopher Grant of Lancaster, 2 step daughters, Rikki Hyatt and Stevi Helms both of Lancaster, a brother, Buck Tucker and his wife Jan of Lancaster, 2 sisters, Lou Cauthen and her husband Al of Heath Springs and Kitty Rushing and her husband Steve of Lancaster, 4 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Tucker will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Sherwood Baptist Church by Rev. Eddie Usher. The Family of Mr. Tucker will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm at the church and in lieu of flowers suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Lancaster, 902 W. Meeting Street, Lancaster, SC 29720.
