Caleb Taylor Henson, age 20, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021. He was born June 11, 2001, in Lancaster, a son of Clifford "Cliff" John Henson and Anna Caroline Taylor Henson. Caleb was a full-time student at Anderson University majoring in Business Marketing and was a member of the Baptist Collegiate Ministry. He loved Anderson and loved his teammates on the golf team. Caleb was an avid golfer and received a golfing scholarship to Anderson. He graduated from Buford High School and has always loved the Buford community. Caleb loved life, always laughing, and joking around. He often talked to school mates and friends about God and shared the gospel. Caleb loved his family dearly and all his friends. He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Caleb is survived by his parents, Cliff and Anna Henson; maternal grandmother, Carolyn D. Taylor; paternal grandparents, Mike and Joan Taylor; aunts and uncles, Melissa and Bryan Jenkins, and Micky and Paula Taylor; and cousins, Ashley Taylor, Emily Taylor, Toni Jenkins, Rylee Jenkins, and Lilly Jenkins.

Caleb was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Hubert Taylor; and aunt, Toni Eaton.

The Celebration of Life Service for Caleb will be 3:00 pm Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Second Baptist Church in Lancaster officiated by Rev. Brandon Fairfax and Rev. Cliff Henson. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, two hours prior to the service, at Second Baptist Church. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Anderson University Golf Team, 316 Boulevard, Anderson, SC 29621.
