LANCASTER, SC:::::::::: Mr. Byron Lee " Buck" Wallace, age 42, died peacefully Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center in Pineville. He was born April 25, 1973 in Lancaster, the son of the late Raymond Lamar Wallace and the late Patricia Catoe Wallace, and was the husband of Christi Payne Wallace. Mr. Wallace retired from Duke Energy. He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and racing. Some of his favorite race memories included watching his nephew, Justin Payne, and brother-in-law, Travis Payne race. He was a huge Kyle Bush fan. Mr. Wallace was a Mason with the Jackson Masonic Lodge #53 and of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife, Christi Payne Wallace; and a son, Stephan Christopher Wallace.

Mr. Wallace was preceded in death his parents, Raymond Lamar Wallace and Patricia Catoe Wallace.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Wallace will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Jessie Adams.

The Family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC and suggest memorial contributions be made to the National Kidney Foundation of South Carolina, 508 Hampton Street, Columbia, SC 29201 or the American Diabetes Association, 107 Westpark Blvd. Suite 220, Columbia, SC 29201.

The family will be meeting at the home of Christi Wallace.
