LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Billy “Buck” Cudd, age 49, passed away Friday, January 30, 2026. He was born July 26, 1976, a son of Larry Edward “Rusty” Cudd, Sr. and Brenda Hodge McClain. Buck loved fishing, NASCAR, and Carolina Gamecocks. He was employed as a cook at 903 Grill, and his customers would follow him no matter where he cooked. Buck was a simple man who enjoyed life and never met a stranger. All who knew him loved him. His son, Cooper, was his whole world and he loved every minute they spent together.

He is survived by his son, Cooper Williams; his mother, Brenda McClain (Henry); his father, Rusty Cudd (Mary); siblings, Crystal Laney (Kevin), Larry “Bubby” Cudd, Jr., Amber Cudd, and Toni Cudd (Michael Shaw); and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Buck was preceded in death by a brother, Corey Cudd.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Burgess Funeral Home.
