FLORENCE, SC ~ Mrs. Brenda Moore, age 75, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Heritage Home of Florence. She was born April 28, 1945 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Robert Alexander Moore and Thelma Hudson Moore.  Brenda was an avid SC Gamecock fan and was a member of the Eastern Star.  She enjoyed dancing and bowling.  Brenda was a people person and loved getting to know everyone she met.  She loved working with children and youth.  Her family and friends were her life and she loved spending time with them.  Brenda was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where she was very involved, including teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Marianne Taylor (Brad Enzor); her grandson, Joel Jordan; her brother, Charles "Buck" Moore (Juanita); her nephew, Phillip Moore; her great nephew, Orion Moore; and her great niece, Erica Moore.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dexter Moore; and her parents.

The Celebration of Life Service for Brenda will be 2:00 pm Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Antioch Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Trent McLaughlin and Pastor Cotton Pate.  The service will stream live on Facebook on the Burgess Funeral Home page and the Antioch Baptist Church page.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Agape Hospice, 1516 W Palmetto Street, Florence, SC 29501.
