LANCASTER, SC::::: Brandon Alan Whitaker, 23, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017. He was born September 23, 1993 in Lancaster, the son of Jeffery Alan Whitaker and the late Wanda Mills Whitaker. He loved his truck, being outdoors, drag racing and truck shows. Brandon always enjoyed helping others with projects.

Brandon is survived by his father, Jeffery Alan Whitaker; a sister, Whitney Burke and her husband, Dawson; his paternal grandmother, Judy Whitaker; and four uncles, Greg Whitaker and his wife, Karen and Charlie Whitaker both of Lancaster, David Mills of Wingate and Kenny Mills of Pageland; and three aunts, Evelyn Ennis and Lorre Little both of Monroe and Lesa Ratliff of Kannapolis.

Brandon was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Mills Whitaker; and his grandparents, Bobby Whitaker and Mildred and Parks Cuthbertson.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Brandon will be 11:00 am Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Bethlehem Baptist Church by Rev. Jason Myers. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 10:00 11:00 am, Thursday in the Family Life Center of Bethlehem Baptist Church and other times at the home of his grandmother, Judy Whitaker.
