LANCASTER, SC::::::::::::: Mrs. Bonnie Grier Galloway Thompson Wright, age 76, died Tuesday June 16, 2009 at White Oak Manor where she was a resident. She was born August 25, 1933 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Rev. G.C. Grier and Willie Stroud Grier. Mrs. Wright was married first to the late James Galloway, second to the late Bert Thompson and later to the late Hazel Wright. Mrs. Wright retired from Springs Industries, Walmart, was a cashier at Piggly Wiggly and was a member of High Point Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Wright was survived by 2 daughters, Gloria Galloway Taylor and Debbie Galloway Hancock both of Lancaster, 5 brothers, Sonny Grier, William Grier, TR Grier, Wesley Grier all of Lancaster, and Marshall Grier of the Philippines, 6 sisters, Maxine Roof, Jettie Caskey, Edria Payne, and Sandra Carnes all of Lancaster, Barbara Hefley of Richburg, and Susan Mozerella of Charleston, 3 grandchildren, Tim Hegler, Joseph Hancock and Lesley Washington, and 3 great grandchildren. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Wright will be 2:00 pm, Friday, June 19, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Donald Tillman and Rev. Cliff Wilson with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.The Family of Mrs. Wright will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home and the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, Lancaster County Relay for Life, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
