LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Bobby Dean McInvaille, age 55, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022, at his home. He was born September 27, 1966, in Lancaster, the son of Gary McInvaille and Martha Casey Weaver and was the husband of Annette Todd McInvaille. Bobby was a carpenter and was employed with Marty Harper Construction. He loved to play the piano and his desire was to play for Jesus until Jesus called him home. Bobby loved his God first, was a Christian and a very humble man. He loved everyone, but especially his family. Bobby was a member of Canaan Freewill Baptist Church and loved his church family.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Annette Todd McInvaille; his parents, Rev. Gary McInvaille (Sabrina) and Martha Weaver (Sanford); two sisters, Patty Harper (Marty) and Tammy Dunlap; two stepsons, Frankie Cauthen (Amanda) and Jacob Cauthen (Ally); a step grandson, Caleb Cauthen; a special brother-in-law, Chris Todd; and his niece and nephews that he loved very much, Justin Harper, Amber Rogers and Lucas Dunlap.
The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. McInvaille will be 11:00 am, Monday, January 24, 2022, at Canaan Freewill Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Mitch Gulledge. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the church and suggest memorial contributions be made to Canaan Freewill Baptist Church, PO Box 220, Lancaster, SC 29721.
SFC Bobby McInvaille served honorably for a period of 8 years in the South Carolina State Guard. After Bobby separated from the South Carolina State Guard he joined the Royal Lao Airborne. SFC McInvaille served as part of the RAIDER and Jungle Detachment Team, as was a member of the Royal Lao Airborne Cadre.
SFC McInvaille, earned the RAIDER Trident, Jungle Expert Badge and also his Royal Lao Airborne Jump Wings. In addition to these Badges, he also earned the following RLA Awards.
SFC McInvaille also earned numerous awards while serving in the SC State Guard.
