LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Bobby Wayne Hinson, age 80, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022. He was born February 21, 1942, in Lancaster, a son of the late Julius Luther Hinson and Teresa Crenshaw Hinson and was the husband of Eula Sue Mobley Hinson. Mr. Hinson was owner operator of B&E Aviation and an experienced airplane and helicopter pilot. He managed Lancaster Airport for over 12 years, was part of the L&C Railway for over 13 years and was a reserve for the Lancaster County Sherriff's Department. He enjoyed motorcycles and going to the mountains. Mr. Hinson was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.

Mr. Hinson is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eula Hinson; his daughter, Laura Hinson; his grandson, Julius Catoe; mother-in-law, Mayo Mobley; brother-in-law, Hal Mobley; and a sister-in-law, Rachel M. Castle (Dave).

Mr. Hinson was preceded in death by his parents.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Hinson will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at St. Luke United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church columbarium.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the church and other times at the home of Eula Hinson. For those who wish, memorials may be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 128 Providence Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
