LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Bobby Joe Deese, age 65, went home to rest with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at White Oak Manor in Lancaster.  He was born April 30, 1954 in Panama City, Florida, a son of the late Wilmer Deese and Inez Majors Deese. Mr. Deese was an accomplished musician.  He played the guitar and loved music and sharing it with others.  He especially loved playing with his son and grandson. Mr. Deese was also a handyman who could fix anything.  He was a jokester and fun-loving with a great sense of humor.   He never met a stranger.   Mr. Deese was very close to his family and loved them dearly.

Mr. Deese is survived by his son, Matthew Deese and his wife, Courtney; four grandchildren, Abby Deese, Jesse Dellinger, Cole Dellinger, and Annie Dellinger; and a large family with several brothers and sisters.

Mr. Deese was preceded in death by his parents.
