LANCASTER, SC :::::::::: Boardman Homer "Bo" Caraway, III, age 32, died Tuesday, August 18, 2009. He was born August 28, 1976 in York County, the son of Dr. Boardman Homer Caraway, Jr. and Anne Bare Caraway. Bo was a 1994 graduate of Lancaster High School where he was active in soccer, tennis, and also played in the LHS Band. He was also a Boy Scout and later attended USC-L and Lander College. He enjoyed his pets and his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Mr. Caraway is survived by his parents, Dr. B. H. Caraway, Jr. of Lancaster and Anne Bare Caraway of Jefferson, NC, a sister, Dr. Kimberly C. DuBose and her husband Dr. Trey DuBose of Greenville, SC, and 4 nieces and nephews, Ellie, Cara, Jack, and Ben DuBose. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Caraway will be 2:00 pm, Saturday afternoon, August 22, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Dave Carlson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, and in lieu of flowers, suggest memorial contributions be made to the National Institute of Mental Health, Gift Fund, 6001 Executive Blvd., Room 8104, MSC 9655, Bethesda, MD 20892-9655.
