LANCASTER, SC::::: Mr. Billy Joe Sweatt, age 64, died Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center. He was born November 1, 1952 in Lancaster, the son of Marie Sweatt Mackey. Mr. Sweatt worked in the construction business.

Mr. Sweatt is survived by his mother, Marie Sweatt Mackey of Lancaster; a daughter, Amanda Lee Sweatt of Patrick, SC; two grandchildren, Ivan Perez and Derrick Stalk, and a great grandchild, Serenity Dallas Perez.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
