LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mr. Billy Cecil McManus, age 79, died Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born March 20, 1936 in Union County, NC, the son of the late Cecil McManus and Lola Yow McManus and was the husband of Della McAteer McManus. Mr. McManus retired from Birch Brothers Southern Machine Shop, served our great country in the United States Army and was a member of Zion United Methodist Church.

Mr. McManus is survived by his wife, Della McAteer McManus; two sons, Kevin McManus and his wife Kim of Monroe and Alan McManus and his wife Kara of Indian Trail; three grandchildren, Derrick McManus and his fiancé Adria, Samantha Quinn and her husband Zack and Andrew McManus; and two brothers, Kenneth McManus and his wife Judy and Norris McManus and his wife Phyllis all of Monroe.

Mr. McManus was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jim McManus and Allen McManus, and a sister, Faye Helms.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. McManus will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Zion United Methodist Church by Rev. Mike Burgess. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The Family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 1:00 - 1:50 pm, in the Family Life Center and suggest memorial contributions be made to Zion United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1665 Zion Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
