LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Billy Wayne Holden, age 62, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House. He was born May 18, 1955, the son of Helen Outlaw Holden and the late Jake Wayne Holden. He was the husband of Kathy Faile Holden. Mr. Holden loved riding his motorcycle and playing the drums. He was a member of and loved attending his church at Liberty Freewill Baptist. Billy loved his family and he took excellent care of all of them.

Mr. Holden is survived by his wife, Kathy Holden; two sons, Jeff Holden and his wife, Staci, and B.J. Holden and his wife, Brittany; one daughter, Jamie Sistare and her husband, Matt; seven grandchildren, Aubree Holden, Bailee Holden, Mattie Sistare, Holden Sistare, Preston Holden, Xander Holden and Raynee Holden; a step-father, Lavern Cheney; and two brothers, Barry Holden and Bobby Holden.

Mr. Holden is preceded in death by his father, Jake Wayne Holden.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Holden will be 2:00 pm Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Liberty Freewill Baptist Church by Rev. Tim Larrimore. Burial will follow at Kershaw City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC.
