LANCASTER, SC::::::::: Mr. Billy G. Estridge. Jesus called today and took you away, my sweet darling husband, I loved so much ~ Ruby. Mr. Estridge age 75, of 1069 Greenbriar Drive, died December 13, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center. He was born May 14, 1935 in Kershaw County, the son of the late Bishop Estridge and Callie Bowers Estridge and was the husband of Ruby Allen Estridge. Mr. Estridge retired from Springs Industries, was of the Baptist faith and served our great country in the United States Army. Mr. Estridge is survived by his wife, Ruby Allen Estridge of the home, a son, Billy Estridge, Jr. and his wife Patty, a daughter, Paula E. Rouse and her husband Clay, a brother, Ferris Estridge, 5 grandchildren, Alisha Estridge, Crystal Holley, James Rouse, Matthew Rouse, and Christopher Estridge, and a grandson, Jacob Robinson all of Lancaster. Mr. Estridge was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Frances Mullis and Marjorie Plyler. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Estridge will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home by Rev. Donald Tillman and Rev. Eddie Usher. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mr. Estridge will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Hartley Funeral Home.
