HEATH SPRINGS, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Beverly McManus Jodi Watkins, age 59, died Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born May 2, 1957 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late J.P. McManus and the late Frances Starnes McManus and was the wife of Wayne G. Watkins. Mrs. Watkins worked for Springs Memorial Hospital as Patients Account Manager and later worked for AMCOL in Columbia. She was an avid reader and loved watching baseball, a huge fan of Atlanta Braves. She enjoyed playing softball in her younger years. She was a very loving and caring person and one of the most unselfish women you will ever know. Mrs. Watkins was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Watkins is survived by her husband, Wayne G. Watkins; two brothers, Eddie McManus and his wife, Debbie, and Jeffery and his wife, Missy; a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law Jerry and Ann Strickland; five nephews, Nicholas, Jeremy and
Patrick McManus, David Strickland (Robyn), and Todd Strickland; two nieces, Alexandria McManus and Julie Harris; two great nephews, Noah and Jonah Harris; and two great nieces, Bradlee McManus and Sarah Strickland.

Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her parents.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Mrs. Watkins will be at 3:00 pm Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Kershaw City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after the service, Monday, October 10, 2016 and suggest memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society 2007 Green Peach Street, Lancaster, SC 29720 or to the charity of your choice.
