LANCASTER, SC~ Mrs. Beverly Ann Hinson Duncan, age 73, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020.  She was born June 11, 1946 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Curtis Hinson and Lucille Starnes Hinson and was the wife of Charles "Sam" Duncan.  Mrs. Duncan loved working in her flowers.  She was a wonderful caretaker who cared deeply for her family and it was her honor to care for her husband, children, and grandchildren.  Her heart was full of love and kindness.  Cooking for her grandchildren was her joy and they loved her "sugar biscuits".  Mrs. Duncan was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church where she enjoyed playing the bells.

Mrs. Duncan is survived by her husband of 48 years, Sam Duncan; her son, Joseph Duncan (Amy); three daughters, Betsy Vick (Jason), Kimberly Self, and Charlene Blackmon (Brad); nine grandchildren, Samantha Self, Kristopher Self, Jadon Vick, Andrew Duncan, Grayson Vick, Delanee Vick, Aubrie Blackmon, Talen Blackmon, and Zaine Blackmon; two great grandchildren, Skylen Pate and Kingston Pate; a very close sister-in-law, Brenda Hinson; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Charles Hinson; and two sisters, Betsy Hinson and Carol Wrobel.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Duncan.
