LANCASTER, SC::::::::::::: Mrs. Betty Hunter McManus, age 72, of 4636 JB Denton Road, died Friday, December 18, 2009 at her home. She was born February 3, 1937 in Monroe, NC the daughter of the late Robert William Hunter and Viola Tadlock Hunter and was the wife of Keith Harold McManus. Mrs. McManus was a retired cafeteria operator for the Lancaster County School District and attended Flint Ridge Baptist Church. Mrs. McManus is survived by her husband Keith McManus of the home, 2 sons, Edward Harold McManus and his wife Kathy of Lancaster and Tommy Eugene McManus and his wife Michelle of Heath Springs, a brother, Donald Hunter of Charlotte, 2 sisters, Carolyn Foster of Albemarle, NC and Wanda Hunter of Charlotte, 6 grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon, Lacey, Matthew, Katelin and Luke McManus, and a great grandchild, Jason Hoke.Mrs. McManus was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Roger, James and Bobby Hunter.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. McManus will be 2:00 pm, Monday, December 21, 2009 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home by Rev. Brandon McManus and Rev. Kelvin Hinson with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mrs. McManus will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday evening, December 20, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Flint Ridge Baptist Church, 1850 Flint Ridge Road, Heath Springs, SC 29058
