LANCASTER, SC:::::: Mrs. Betty Ann Lemons Hunter, age 59, of 1125 10th Street, died Sunday morning, October 20, 2002 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born September 17, 1943 in Rock Hill, the daughter of Christine Dalton Lemons and the late Sam Caldwell Lemons and was the wife of William M. "Billy" Hunter. Mrs. Hunter was a payroll administrator for Brookshire Weaving in Lancaster and a member of Fellowship Bible Church. Mrs. Hunter is survived by her husband, William M. "Billy" Hunter of the home, her mother, Christine Dalton Lemons of Chester, a son, David Lynwood Weeks, Jr. and his wife Dana of Nashville, TN, 2 daughters, Carolyn Jewel Catledge and her husband Tim and Norma Elizabeth Hunter Beckham and her husband Tony both of Lancaster, 2 sisters, Norma Jean Bagley and her husband Heyward of Chester, and Mildred Dianne Pelkey and her husband James of Lancaster, 5 grandchildren, Samuel Williams, Bradley Weeks, Anna Williams, Jonathan Weeks and Allen Williams. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Hunter was 1:00 pm Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at Fellowship Bible Church by Dr. Huey Mills and Rev. David Weeks, Jr. Burial followed at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mrs. Hunter received friends from 6:00- 8:00 pm Monday, October 21, 2002 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggested memorial contributions to Carolina Christian Academy or Fellowship Bible Church, 1850 Kershaw-Camden Hwy., Lancaster SC 29720.
