LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Betty Sue Taylor Faulkenberry, age 73, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 12, 2022. She was born April 14, 1949, in Camden, SC, a daughter of the late Willie Noah Taylor and the late Lessie Almetta Outen Taylor and was the wife of Kenneth Ray Faulkenberry.  Mrs. Faulkenberry was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family whom she loved so dearly. Mrs. Faulkenberry was a member of Second Baptist Church.

Mrs. Faulkenberry is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ken Faulkenberry; her daughter, Staci White (Stephen); her two sons, Will Faulkenberry (Sherry), and Ben Faulkenberry (Emily); her five grandchildren, Dillon White (Taylor), Emma Rae White, Logan Faulkenberry, Karli Faulkenberry, and Henry Faulkenberry; Henry's mother, Karen Moreland; her two sisters, Mildred Phillips (W.T.), and Judy Carnes (Sonny); her brother, Billy Taylor (Shirley); her sister-in-law, Carol Taylor; her brother-in-law, Mike Vincent; and a large extended family.

Mrs. Faulkenberry was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lessie Taylor; her sister, Jean Vincent; and her two brothers, Olin Taylor, and Herman Taylor.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Faulkenberry will be 11:00 am on Monday, May 16, 2022, at Second Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Brian Saxon. Burial will follow at Abney Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am – 11:00am one hour prior to the service in the church foyer. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Second Baptist Church, 1426 Great Falls Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720.
