LANCASTER, SC::::::::::::: Mrs. Bessie Dease Hinson, age 92, died Tuesday June 23, 2009 at White Oak Manor where she was a resident. She was born December 20, 1916 in Kershaw County, the daughter of the late James William Dease and Lula Horton Dease and was the wife of the late Charles Nelson Hinson. Mrs. Hinson retired from Springs Industries and Rose's Dept. Store and was a charter member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Mrs. Hinson was survived by 2 sons, Charles T. Hinson and his wife Linda of Lancaster, and Roger A. Hinson and his wife Belinda of Duncan, SC, a daughter, Brenda K. Hegler and her husband Carl of Villa Rica, GA, 3 sisters, Lucille Campbell of Heath Springs, Tyther Moore of Heath Springs and Floys Adams of Lancaster, 5 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.Mrs. Hinson was preceded in death by a son, James L. "Sonny" Hinson, a brother, Coleman Dease, and 2 sisters, Ellen Taylor and Willie Roberts. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Hinson will be 2:00 pm, Friday June 26, 2009 at Immanuel Baptist Church by Rev. Dale Roach and Rev. Tim Anderson with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.The Family of Mrs. Hinson will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home and the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1152 Great Falls Hwy., Lancaster SC 29720.
