LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Bertha Robinson Parker, age 79, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 19, 2020 with the love of her two sons surrounding her. She was born May 31, 1941 in Lancaster, SC, a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Robinson and was the wife of the late Carl Britton Parker. Mrs. Parker graduated from Lancaster High School and retired from the Bank of Lancaster after many years of service.

Mrs. Parker persevered through heartache and health hurdles at a very young age and went on to live a very full and meaningful life. Mrs. Parker never took life and precious time with those she loved for granted.  She was first and foremost a dedicated mother.  She treasured her sons and embraced every moment with them.  She especially loved her role as Granny.

Mrs. Parker's hands were rarely still.  She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, and gardening.  She also enjoyed many years of working the American Legion baseball concession stand where she served up many hot dogs.  She was also an avid Duke basketball fan!

Mrs. Parker is survived by two sons, Britton S. "Britt" Parker and his wife Cathy, and Jayson C. Parker; and her grandchildren, Sutton Rose Parker and Britton Scott Parker.

Graveside services for Mrs. Parker will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Lancaster Memorial Park.  The family suggest memorials be made to Second Baptist Church, 1426 Great Falls Hwy., Lancaster, SC 29720.
