HEATH SPRINGS, SC::::::::: Mr. Bernie Raymond Hinson, age 92, of 1692 Baskins Hill Road, died Friday, December 12, 2008 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born February 15, 1916 in Lancaster County, the son of the late Julius Luther Hinson and Lois Blackmon Hinson and was the husband of Etta McAteer Hinson. Mr. Hinson retired from Duracell, was a member of Rich Hill Baptist Church and served our great country in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Hinson was survived by his wife, Etta McAteer Hinson of the home, a son, Jimmy Raymond Hinson and his wife Marlene of Lancaster and a daughter, Darlene Roberts and her husband Ronny, 6 grandchildren, Sheila Mullis, Jamie Hinson, Kristy Allen, Chad Hinson, Monica Bennett and Mandy McManus, and 5 great grandchildren, Summer Hinson, Jordyn Ellis, Hunter Mullis, Kylee Allen and Wyatt Hinson.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Hinson will be 3:00pm Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Rich Hill Baptist Church by Rev. Mike Bell, Rev. Kenneth Lance, and Rev. Dane Jordan with burial to follow in the church cemetery.The Family of Mr. Hinson will receive friends immediately following the service in the Family Ministry Building and suggest memorial contributions to Rich Hill Baptist Church, Sign Fund, 1557 E.
