LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Isabella Harper Bailey "Belle", 79, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019.  She was born November 9, 1939 in Lancaster, SC, a daughter of the late Luther Harper and Dorothy Bond Harper and is the wife of Charlie Robert Bailey, Jr. Mrs. Bailey retired as office manager for Slaughter Machinery Company.  She was a member of the Green Gardner's Club, was the recipient of the Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow award and was a member of Liberty Hill Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charlie Bailey; two daughters, Jan Paul (John) of Camden, SC and Barbie Outlaw (Robbie) of Pageland, SC; four grandchildren, Megan Rao Paul, Lizzie Outlaw, Bella Paul and Harrison Outlaw; a sister, Valeria Adams (W.C.) of Greensboro, NC; and special friends, Jimmy and Lynne Jones of Van Wyck, SC, Johnny and Meredith Morris of Camden, SC, and Marguerite Adams of Lancaster.

Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bart Harper.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Bailey will be 11:00 am Friday, July 19, 2019 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Dr. Joel Dale.  Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the funeral home.
