LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Beatrice Kirkley Lucas, age 86, of 1827 Grace Avenue, died Sunday, January 2, 2011. She was born November 11, 1924 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Beauty Robertson and was the wife of the late George E. Lucas, Sr. Mrs. Lucas was a homemaker and a member of Church of God Prophecy. Mrs. Lucas was survived by her grandson, Kent Lucas and his wife Jennifer of Lancaster, and 2 great grandchildren, Tristan Lucas and Caleb Lucas. Mrs. Lucas was preceded in death by her son, George E. Lucas, Jr. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Lucas will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mrs. Lucas will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm Tuesday, January 4, 2011at Hartley Funeral Home and suggests memorials be made to Church of God of Prophecy, 1677 Alpha Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
