HEATH SPRINGS, SC::::::::: Mr. Barry Shannon Gladden, age 46, died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born October 6, 1969 in Chester County, a son of Hartsell Hugh Gladden, Sr. and Burma Broom Gladden. Mr. Gladden graduated from Great Falls High School in 1988. He enjoyed dirt track racing and fishing and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Mr. Gladden is survived by his parents, Hartsell Hugh Gladden, Sr. and Burma Broom Gladden of Great Falls; a son, Shane Gladden of Lancaster; two daughters, Morgan Byrd and her husband, Dustin of Kershaw, and Magen Bush of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Dawson and Madelyn Byrd; a brother, Hugh Gladden and his wife, Julie of York and three nephews, Ryan, Wes and Garrett Gladden.

The Service of Remembrance for Mr. Gladden will be 2:00 pm Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Fort Lawn by Rev. Ray Robinson and Rev. Jimmy Jordan.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times at his home. Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, PO Box 397, Fort Lawn, SC 29714.
