Mr. Barry Edwin Bullymont, age 69, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the Levine and Dickson Hospice House - Southminster, Charlotte, NC

Barry was born July 4,1947 in Sharon Connecticut. Son to the late Roy Bullymont and to the late Priscilla Joan Morrison Bullymont.

Barry was an adoring husband to his wife, Pamela, and a wonderful father to his daughters, Katherine, Christine, and Elaina.

Barry attended Webutuck High School in Millerton, NY. Upon graduation Barry entered into the United States Army, serving as a Sargent in the Military Police. Following his military service, Barry joined the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department, retiring as a detective. Barry finished his professional career owning a private investigative and security firm. Barry was a very active member in the Amenia NY Lions Club, holding roles as Secretary, Vice President and President, he truly enjoyed serving his community. In his spare time, Barry enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles, and riding his horses. Barry was a lifetime Dutchess County, NY resident before he and his wife retired to Sun City Carolina Lakes in South Carolina, six years ago.

Barry is survived by his wife, Pamela Nacht Bullymont, Daughters, Katherine Bullymont of Poughkeepsie NY, Christine Bullymont of Esopus NY, and Elaina Krebbers of Patterson NY.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
