LANCASTER, SC:::::Mrs. Barbara Eloise Jones Sullivan Harrington, age 87, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born September 3, 1929 in Cross Hill, SC, the daughter of the late Clyde G. Jones and Mary Elizabeth Hill Jones Thomas. Mrs. Harrington was self-employed in many different types of businesses. She was a highly motivated person, very talented and creative. She enjoyed the arts, traveling, animals and was very knowledgeable about plants. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Mrs. Harrington is survived by three daughters, Barbara Jo Summers and her husband, Greg, of Lancaster, Rose Mary Ellis and her husband, Steve, of New Orleans, LA and Sherri Summers and her husband, Leland, of Lancaster; three sons, Daniel Sullivan, and his wife, Sunny, of Thailand, Mark Sullivan, and his wife, Maria, of Greenwell Springs, LA, and Perry Sullivan and his wife, Candy, of Ocean Springs, MS; seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Harrington will be 2:00 pm Sunday, December 4, 2016 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Rex Faile. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday evening, December 3, 2016, at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC and suggest memorial contributions be made to Samaritans Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
