LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Barbara Williams Skipper, age 73, passed away Monday, September 25, 2023. She was born April 10, 1950, in Conway, SC, a daughter of the late Joseph Duesenbury Green and the late Barbara Green Sellers and her husband, Bill Sellers. Ms. Skipper was the broker owner of Adventure Realty. After retiring from the real estate industry, she enjoyed gardening, making floral arrangements and wreaths, and listening to gospel and beach music. Ms. Skipper loved to bake, especially cakes. She loved her sweet fur baby, Finn, but her three grandchildren were her heart and she loved them "every bit"! In her younger years, she enjoyed needlework, cross stitching, and spending time on the lake.

Ms. Skipper is survived by her two children, Kim Williams West, and her husband, Paul Howard West Jr., and Kevin Thomas Williams; her grandson, Dylan's mother, Laura Williams; three grandchildren, Chloe Ann West, Dylan Thomas Williams, and Paul Howard "Trey" West III; two siblings, Kenneth Green, and his wife Trish, and Sarah Overstreet, and her husband Steve; a brother-in-law, Joseph Roberts; and one of the most loving extended families one could be blessed with.

Ms. Skipper was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Green, Barbara Sellers, and Bill Sellers; and two siblings, Daniel Green, and his wife Debbie, and Carol Roberts.

The Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Skipper will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 28, 2023, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
