LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Barbara Jean Watts Faile, age 72, died Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at her home. She was born November 1, 1941 in Lancaster, the daughter of the late James C. Watts and Connie Ghent Watts and was the wife of Joe S. Faile. Mrs. Faile retired from Springs Industries after 41 years of service and was an active member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Mrs. Faile is survived by her husband, Joe S. Faile of the home, a daughter, Tami Faile Ethridge and her husband David of Lancaster, a grandson, Joseph C. Ethridge and his wife Christy of Lancaster, and a great grandson, Spencer L. Ethridge, and three sisters, Frances "Sis" Casey and her husband Buddy, Betty Criminger, and Idell Roberts all of Lancaster.

Mrs. Faile was preceded in death by a brother, David Watts.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Faile will be 11:00 am, Friday morning, November 29, 2013 at Antioch Baptist Church by Rev. Trent McLaughlin. Entombment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The Family of Mrs. Faile will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday evening, November 28, 2013 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Baptist Church Building Fund, 3052 Taxahaw Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
