LANCASTER, SC ~ Bailey Elizabeth Baxley, age 29, passed away on March 31, 2023. She was born July 17, 1993, in Charleston, SC, daughter of Don William Baxley Jr and Karen McCain Baxley. Bailey is survived by her parents; sister, Chandler Baxley Kirkley; brother-in-law, Donald Kirkley; two nephews, Rhett and Watson Kirkley; paternal grandfather, Don William Baxley Sr; as well as, many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Bailey loved her dogs, Velvet and Rilee, dearly. Bailey was very special and cared for her family and friends tremendously. She loved the Clemson Tigers, her church family at Unity ARP, and never met a stranger. Bailey had no fear especially when it came to riding roller coasters, no matter the height or speed. She was not afraid to pray anytime or anywhere for everyone and loved Jesus. She was not shy about sharing her love for Him and was always the first to volunteer to pray out loud on Sunday mornings.  She taught us so many things about life and how to love. Her family is proud and grateful that God shared her with them for 29 years. We should all strive to live a little more like Bailey.

Bailey was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Harry Lake and Betty McCain; parental grandmother, Sonja Baxley; and her beloved dog, Ginger.

The Celebration of Bailey's Life will be held at Unity ARP Church, officiated by Rev. Charles Hammond at 11:00am on Wednesday April 5, 2023, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am, one hour prior to the service, and immediately following the service.
