LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Azilee Norton Morgan, age 78, passed away Friday, November 8, 2013 at her home. She was born August 30, 1935 in Lancaster, the daughter of the late William Early Norton and Ettie Mae Payne Norton and was the wife of the late Melvin Morgan. Mrs. Morgan retired from Duracell and was a longtime member of Sherwood Baptist Church.

Mrs. Morgan is survived by two daughters, Wanda Morgan Ghent and her husband Scott and Melba Rape both of Lancaster, a son, Michael Dean Morgan and his wife Josie of Myrtle Beach, SC, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Morgan Phillips and three sisters, Mary Barton, Rosa Lee Hall and Geneva Bradley.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Morgan will be 2:00 pm, Monday, November 11, 2013 at Sherwood Baptist Church by Rev. Rusty McCallister. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mrs. Morgan will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral in the Family Life Center and other times at the home of Wanda and Scott Ghent, 2522 New Cut Circle, Lancaster. Memorials may be made to Sherwood Baptist Church, PO Box 813, Lancaster, SC 29721.
