LANCASTER, SC ~ Audrey Lee (Hansen) Serafini passed away peacefully on January 21, 2023, after a long courageous battle with dementia.

Audrey was born August 14, 1941, in Asbury Park, New Jersey, the daughter of Harold Hansen and Evelyn Slockbower Hansen. She moved with her family to South Florida in the 1950s where she graduated from Pompano Beach High School in 1959.  She married her husband, Richard Serafini, in 1963 and they were married for more than 43 years until his passing in 2007. They spent many of those years raising their family in Lighthouse Point, Florida, followed by 6 of their retirement years in Maryville, Tennessee before finally settling in Sun City Center, Florida in 2003.

She is survived by her children Stacey (Brandon) Pittman of Tampa, Florida and Justin (Meredith) Serafini of Clover, South Carolina, as well as her grandchildren Nicholas, Samantha, Avery, Everlee and Sophia. She is also survived by her sisters Carol, Pamela and Cindy, as well as her brother Robert. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Shirley, her husband Richard, and her granddaughter Natalie.

A private family gathering of remembrance will take place on February 11, 2023.
