LANCASTER, SC :::::::::::Mrs. Annie Harper Williams, age 86, died February 6, 2012 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born July 7, 1925 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Vernon Grier Harper and Agnes Harper Harper and was the wife of the late John William Williams. Mrs. Williams retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Zion United Methodist Church. Mrs. Williams is survived by a brother, Ned Grier Harper and his wife Mary of Lancaster, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Ray Harper.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Williams will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Zion United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Family of Mrs. Williams will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Thompson Family Life Center and the family suggests memorials be made to Zion United Methodist Church, Thompson Family Life Center, 1665 Zion Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.The Family of Mrs. Williams will be at the home of Myra and Max Funderburk.
