Obituary

LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Annie Mae Stacks Rollings, age 98, died Sunday, July 28, 2013. She was born August 30, 1914 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late John Stacks and Lula Taylor Stacks and was the wife of the late Ulah Rollings. Mrs. Rollings retired from Springs Industries, was a member of the Lancaster County Council on Aging and Temple Baptist Church where she had taught GA's and Sunday school.

Mrs. Rollings is survived by ten grandchildren, Van Rallings and his wife Brenda, Mike "Rallo" Rallings and his wife Susan, and Mark Rallings and his wife Sharon all of Lancaster, Pam Miller and her husband Mickey of Tennessee, Dianne Palmer and her husband Aaron, Aubrey Lipford and his wife Delaine, and Keith Lipford and his wife Karen all of Arkansas, Darlene Ware of North Carolina, Denise Hazelwood and Djuannah Hawkins both of Virginia, a daughter in law, Mary Lucas of Lancaster, two sisters, Janie Bruce of Heath Springs and Cleo Robinson of Lancaster, 21 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Rollings was preceded in death by three sons, Sammie Rollings, Benjamin Lawson Rollings, and Ralph Rollings, a daughter, Faye Lipford, three brothers, Reece Pete Stacks, Clyde Stacks and John Stacks, Jr. and three sisters, Bertha Carnes, Lucille Autry and Ruth Usher.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Rollings will be 11:00 am, Wednesday morning, July 31, 2013 at The Chapel of Hartley Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Larry Plyler and Rev. Curtis Cameron. Burial will follow at White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery in Jefferson.

The Family of Mrs. Rollings will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday evening, July 30, 2013 at Hartley Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions to Temple Baptist Church, 1214 Old Landsford Road, Lancaster, SC 29720 or Hospice of South Carolina, 412 N. White Street, Suite A, Lancaster, SC 29720.
