LANCASTER, SC :::::::::::Mrs. Annie M. Snipes, age 86, died Monday, April 1, 2013 at her residence. She was born May 11, 1926 in Kershaw County, the daughter of the late Amos Moseley and Bernice Livingston Moseley and was the wife of the late Oscar Marion Snipes. Mrs. Snipes was a homemaker and a member of New Testament Christian Church.

Mrs. Snipes is survived by 2 daughters, Virginia S. Mathis and Dianne Moore and her husband Junior both of Lancaster, 3 brothers, Bennie Moseley of Lancaster, Clyde Moseley of Camden and Amos Moseley, Jr. of Kershaw, 2 grandchildren, Brandon A. Banks and his wife Melinda and Julie April Mathis, and 3 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Snipes was preceded in death by a son, Danny Marion Snipes and a sister Bertha Taylor,two brothers Albert and Tillman Moseley.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Snipes will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at The Chapel of Hartley Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Dan Tweed. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mrs. Snipes will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the funeral home and suggest memorial contributions to New Testament Christian Church Building Fund, c/o Dan Tweed, 2005 Hilton Way, Lancaster, SC 29720.
