LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Annie Mildred Robinson Faulkenberry, age 94, died Monday, October 24, 2011 at Lancaster Convalescent Center. She was born December 8, 1916 in Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Lewis Pinkney Robinson and Lois Ellis Robinson and was the wife of the late Thomas Otis Faulkenberry. Mrs. Faulkenberry retired from Springs Industries and was an active member of Rich Hill Baptist Church where she was involved with the Senior Citizen Club, WMU and a former GA leader. Mrs. Faulkenberry is survived by a son, Tom Faulkenberry and his wife Nancy of York, 3 daughters, Rebecca Ford and her husband Buddy of Chester, Elaine Brown and her husband Atlee of Heath Springs, and Gayle Steele and her husband Mike of Lancaster, 2 brothers, Carl Robinson of Denver, NC and Malcolm Robinson of Lexington, 9 grandchildren, Jeff and Tim Steele, Chuck and David Ford, Chris, Stephen and Alicia Brown, Kelly Cheek, and Brian Faulkenberry, and 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Faulkenberry was preceded in death by a brother, Spencer Robinson and 6 sisters, Faye Stogner, Elizabeth Pitmon, Kate Moriarty, Edna Hinson, Leona Robinson, and Eileen Hill. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Faulkenberry will be 3:00 pm Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Rich Hill Baptist Church by Rev. Dr. Kenneth Lance. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
