LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Ms. Annette Shantell Medlin, age 43, died Saturday, November 26, 2016 in Galveston, Texas. She was born February 13, 1973 in Monroe, NC, a daughter of Billie Ann Johnson Medlin McIntyre and the late Kenneth Eugene Medlin. Annette was an Oncology nurse and enjoyed taking care of her patients. She loved gardening, especially her flowers and spending time at the beach. She dearly loved her family, especially her daughter, Abby. Annette loved the Lord and shared this in her last post to her Facebook page. I love the Lord and I am saved by the Blood of Jesus Christ. She was of the Baptist faith.

Annette is survived by her mother, Billie Ann Medlin McIntyre and her husband James E. of Lancaster; her daughter, Abbygail Abby Christina Doyle; her fianc, Christopher Doyle of Fort Lawn; two brothers, Shawn Medlin and his wife Tammy and Brian Medlin both of Lancaster; and her maternal grandmother, Frances J. Phifer and her husband, John also of Lancaster.

Annette was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Eugene Medlin; her sister, Shannon Ann Medlin; her maternal grandfather, George A. Johnson and her paternal grandparents, Aubrey L. and Travis Ann Medlin.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Annette will be 3:00 pm Friday, December 2, 2016 at Camp Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Randy Mellichamp and Rev. Craven Chavis. Burial will follow at New Cut Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 pm Thursday evening, December 1, 2016 at Burgess Funeral Home and other times at the home of her brother and sister in law's, Shawn and Tammy Medlin.
