LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Annette Stogner Kruse, age 97, peacefully passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.  She was born June 23, 1921 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late L. W. Stogner and Addie Shute Stogner and was the wife of the late Kenneth William Kruse.  Mrs. Kruse retired from Springs Industries.  She served in the United States Army Air Corps (WAAC) during World War II and was a member of Douglas Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Kruse is survived by her children, Jo Ellen Tolbert and husband, Wayne of Lancaster, Sue Cook and husband, Gerald of Indian Land, and Beth Owens of Westville; and two grandchildren, Charlene Controne and husband, Andrew and Chuck Cook and wife, Jessica. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Benny Owens; three brothers and a sister.
