LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Annette "Mochelle" Jackson, age 56, of Lancaster, South Carolina, passed away on October 5, 2025. Born July 6, 1969, the daughter of the late Charles E. Mathis and Janice M. Mathis. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mom, daughter, sister, and Nana, her favorite title. She enjoyed spending time with those she loved, especially her daughters and granddaughters. She adored her dogs and spent her time crocheting items to shower her girls with love and to make sure they always had some of her to take with them. She was a longtime member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and served as the office manager of Janice Mathis State Farm for 36 years where those she served became family.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Jackson of 37 years; her two daughters, Rebecca Plyler (Kevin) and Elizabeth Mackey (Justin); her mom, Janice M. Mathis; her brother, Charles E. Mathis; her sister Melissa Belk; and her much beloved grandchildren, Adelyn Plyler, Emma Mackey, and Olivia Plyler.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Charles E. Mathis; her maternal grandparents, Gene and Ruth Melton; and her paternal grandparents, Milo and Viola Mathis.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mochelle will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Patrick Blackmon. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Burgess Funeral Home.
