LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Annette Garris, age 55, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her family.  She was born July 3, 1963 in Homestead, Florida.  Mrs. Garris was the wife of Larry Garris.  She fought a long and hard battle with scleroderma for 15 years yet remained very positive and encouraging. Mrs. Garris was a Godly woman, loved taking care of others, making others happy, giving gifts and listening to life stories from elders.  She enjoyed watching movies, traveling and spending time with her family.  Mrs. Garris was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Garris is survived by her husband of 32 years, Larry Garris; two daughters, Lanette Garris of Columbia, SC, and Tiffany Conrad and her husband, Dale of Rock Hill, SC; her father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Mary Garris; her grandmother-in-law, Mary Ellen Adams; and a sister-in-law, Emily Garris of Charlotte, NC.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Garris will be 3:00 pm Monday, June 10, 2019 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Todd Robinson. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Monday, June 10, 2019 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720 and suggests memorial contributions be made to the Scleroderma Research Foundation, 220 Montgomery Street, Suite 484, San Francisco, CA 94104.
