HEATH SPRINGS, SC::::::::::: Mrs. Ann Fallaw Waldrop, age 72, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Lancaster Convalescent Center. She was born February 9, 1944 in York County, the daughter of the late Eunice Grover Fallaw, Jr. and Anne Warner Fallaw and was the loving wife of Rev. Donald F. Waldrop, Sr. Mrs. Waldrop retired from Kmart. She loved music, was a wonderful singer, and was a faithful pastor's wife assisting her husband in the ministry. Mrs. Waldrop was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church.

Mrs. Waldrop is survived by husband of 50 years, Rev. Donald F. Waldrop, Sr.; a son, Donnie Waldrop and his wife, Lisa of Lancaster; a daughter, Kathy Blackmon of Heath Springs; three grandchildren, Kelsey Waldrop, Madison Weaver and her husband, Steven, and Hunter Blackmon; a brother, Gene Fallaw and his wife, Cheryl of Folly Beach; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Waldrop is preceded in death by her parents; a brother and his wife, Jack and Carolyn Fallaw; and her son-in-law, Monty Blackmon.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Waldrop will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 21, 2017 at White Springs Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Roger Anders, Rev. Curtis Cameron and Rev. Jessie Adams. Entombment to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday evening, January 20, 2017 at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to White Springs Baptist Church, Family Life Center, 1249 Grace Avenue, Lancaster, SC 29720 or Pleasant Dale Baptist Church, Matching Grant Fund, 133 S. Potter Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Emergency Room staff and 4th Floor Neuro Unit of Springs Memorial Hospital and the entire staff of the Lancaster Convalescent Center for the care and compassion expressed to them.
