LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Alvin "Pete" Eulese Wright, age 63, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019 at his home.  He was born July 25,1956 in Lancaster, a son of the late John Edward Wright and Johnnie Mae Watts Wright.  Pete enjoyed his work as a contractor.  He loved woodworking and playing golf.  He loved his family and always made sure he told them.  Pete was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Pete is survived by his son, Andy Wright (Shannon); his daughter, Nickie Linton (Mitch); four grandchildren, Zachary, Lucas, Branden and Madison; two brothers, Carl Wright and Franklin "Skin" Wright (Allison); four sisters, Lounell Rodd (Bob), Rhonda Brasington, Susie Snow (Barry), and Paula Nabors (David); and many nieces and nephews.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Johnny Wright; a brother-in-law, Eddie Brasington; and a sister-in-law, Jenny Wright.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Pete will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Oak Hill Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Oak Hill Baptist Church, 6437 Oak Hill Church Rd., Lancaster, SC 29720.
