KERSHAW, SC ~ Mr. Allen Keith Riffle, age 86, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 at MUSC Health Lancaster.  He was born April 30, 1933 in Clay, West Virginia, a son of the late Archie Riffle and PetEtta Workman Riffle and was the husband of Grace Ferguson Riffle.  Mr. Riffle was a handyman who could work on and fix anything.  He enjoyed watching westerns and loved wearing his cowboy hats.  Mr. Riffle always shared a smile and candy with people he met; he was affectionately known as "The Candy Man".  He attended SonLight Community Church of the Nazarene.

Mr. Riffle is survived by his wife of 15 years, Grace Riffle; his daughter, Kathy Berkey of Boardman, OH; his granddaughter, Halla Berkey of Boardman, OH; and his daughter-in-law, Linda M. Riffle of Kershaw, SC.

Mr. Riffle is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife of 51 years, Judy Knapp Riffle; his son, Rev. Dr. Keith Austin Riffle; a son-in-law, Bob Berkey; two brothers, Bill Riffle and Glenn Riffle; and three sisters, Madeline Riffle Thomas, Pearl Riffle and Ruby Riffle.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Riffle will be held at a later date by the family.  The family is receiving friends at the home of Grace Riffle.
