LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Allen Lloyd Hunter, age 77, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Lancaster Convalescent Center.  He was born December 10, 1941 in Lancaster, SC, a son of the late Lloyd Allen Hunter and Bernice Parker Hunter and was the devoted husband to the late Brenda Hallman Hunter. Mr. Hunter was very ambitious, intelligent, creative and had big dreams.  He invented and designed many things. Mr. Hunter loved watching westerns.

Mr. Hunter is survived by three sons, Joe Hunter and his wife, Melinda, Rick Hunter and his wife, Kristi, and Tim Hunter and his girlfriend, Whitney Weeks; nine grandchildren, Clint Hunter and his wife, Meagan, Tyler Hunter, Whitney Hunter, Stephen Hunter, Abigail Hunter, Dani Hunter, Kacey Davis and her husband, Austin, Kody Hunter and Summer Hunter; three great grandchildren, Gage Davis, Landree Davis and Adrianna Davis; a sister, Francine Gardner; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hunter was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Brenda Hunter; his parents; and three sisters, Helen Burton, Louise Surratt, and Cullens Phillips.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Hunter will be 3:00 pm, Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Catawba Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Rick Hunter and Rev. Sean Stroud.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Catawba Baptist Church Family Life Center, 1144 Riverside Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
