LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::: Mrs. Aline Faile Stratton, age 87, died Friday, April 10, 2009 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born April 12, 1921 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late McKinley Faile and Lois Snipes Faile and was the wife of the late Sanford Eugene Stratton. Mrs. Stratton retired from Sky City as a sales clerk and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Stratton is survived by a son, Kenneth Stratton of Heath Springs, a daughter, Carol Phillips and her husband Clyde Phillips, Jr. also of Heath Springs, 7 grandchildren, Mark Phillips, Angie Phillips, Charles Faile, Jr., Marty Faile, Denise Sims, Debra Strickland, and Patty Wrobel, and 2 sisters, Ida Barton of Charlotte and Betty Jo Player.Mrs. Stratton was preceded in death by a son, Charles Faile and 2 brothers, Bobby Faile and Tommy Faile. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Stratton will be 3:00 pm, Friday afternoon, April 17, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Elton Lane with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.The Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Thursday evening, April 16, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home.
