FORT MILL, SC ~ Mrs. Alice Patricia Smith Yancey, age 80, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at The Blake at Edgewater. She was born October 9, 1939 in Atlanta, GA, a daughter of the late Claude Smith and Grace Wellman Smith and was the wife of James Yancey.  Mrs. Yancey was an artist and loved to draw.  She was a very kind, loving lady.  She loved her family dearly.

Mrs. Yancey is survived by her husband of 62 years, James Yancey; a son, Todd Yancey; a daughter, Rhonda Herman (Mike); two grandchildren, Jessie Herman and Kelsey Jones; and a great grandchild, Sam Jones.

Mrs. Yancey was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.

The family will have a private memorial service for Mrs. Yancey.
