LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Alice Crysler Warner, age 94, passed away November 14, 2025. She was born March 9, 1931, in Newport, WA, a daughter of the late Leo Crysler and the late Helena Wright Crysler and was the loving wife of the late Franklin D. Warner, Jr. Mrs. Warner earned her master's degree in Library Science and was employed with Newport School District as a grade school librarian. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi W.A.S.T School Retiree Association, PO County Museum, and T.O.P.S. Mrs. Warner enjoyed reading, Newport School History, camping, and had a great love for children. She loved the Lord and knew Him as her personal Savior and her wish was for everyone to know Him. Mrs. Warner was a member of Zamar Church.
Mrs. Warner is survived by two children, Mark "Doc" Warner of Soldotna, Alaska and Daryl R. Warner (Sherry) of Lancaster; six grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
Mrs. Warner was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Warner; two children, Brooke H. Warner and Franklin D. Warner, III; her parents, Leo and Helena Crysler; and her sister, Elaine Bretthauer.
The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Warner will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 6, 2025, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home.
