INDIAN LAND, SC~ Mrs. Alice Newman Jones, age 87, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019.  She was born August 13, 1932 in New York, NY, a daughter of the late Arthur Newman and Margaret Reich Newman and was the wife of the late Edward Leroy Jones, Sr.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her son, Edward Leroy Jones, Jr. "Roy"; a daughter, Deborah Jones Parker; and a grandchild, Daniel Leroy Parker.

Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Jones; and her parents.
