LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Alice Baines Garris, age 65, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Atrium Health-Main.  She was born November 19, 1954 in North Andover, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Ernest Baines and Rita Fogerty Baines.  She was the wife of the late Banks Garris.  Mrs. Garris was a big sports fan, who loved her Tarheels and watching them play basketball.  She loved her family, especially her grandbabies and grand pups.  Her sisters were her best friends and she loved spending as much time with them as she could.  Mrs. Garris attended Elevation Church.

Mrs. Garris is survived by her two sons, Brian Garris (Patty) and Derek Garris (Partner-Ryan Catoe); three grandchildren, Elijah Garris, Ariya Garris and Ayva Garris; and two sister, Janet Baines and Barbara Hinson

Mrs. Garris was preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Banks Garris and her parents.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Garris will be held at a later time.  Time and date to be announced.
